Safety and responsibility in the work we do.
Our policies set expectations for stopping unsafe work, protecting people, limiting environmental impact, and preventing impairment from drugs or alcohol.
Stop Work
Employees and subcontractors have the right to stop work when they see an immediate threat to health, safety or the environment. Management supports that decision.
People will not be penalized for stopping unsafe work or speaking up about hazards or injuries.
Raise the concern. If there is doubt, promptly report the hazardous situation to the supervisor in charge.
Address it before restarting. Seek the necessary safety advice and address the unsafe condition before the affected work resumes.
Keep improving. Report deviations and opportunities to improve how health, safety and environmental risks are managed.

Health & Safety
Health, safety and welfare are priorities for personnel and others affected by our work. Our policy calls for a safe and healthy working environment, supported by appropriate controls.
Managers and field supervisors are responsible for ensuring personnel understand and follow applicable requirements. The policy covers health, safety and emergency procedures, as well as personnel and training requirements.

Environment
Our policy calls for environmental effects to be considered in work under our control. It covers minimising project impacts, complying with applicable requirements, reducing waste and discharges, and using appropriate disposal methods.
It also calls for the environmental implications of subcontractor and supplier activities to be assessed, including opportunities to prevent pollution and conserve resources. Managers and supervisors apply the policy; senior management communicates and reviews it.

Drug & Alcohol
Our policy aims to prevent drug- or alcohol-related impairment that could put people, equipment or the environment at risk. It prohibits illegal drugs and requires personnel taking prescribed medication to inform their manager and seek medical advice about any effect on safe duties.
Alcohol controls are supported by awareness and referral for professional help where needed.
